Parc Corniche Resort Review

parc corniche resort

The Parc Corniche Resort is located on South International Drive right near SeaWorld. Over the past year the resort has undergone a major renovation and is continuing to update the units and the resort amenities. One of the biggest benefits to this resort is that the units are all individually owned and can be found on vacation rental by owner sites such as Airbnb and VRBO. This means that you can find units for significantly less than the hotel’s standard rate. We found one-bedroom units renting for $400 per week! For that area you won’t find a better deal.

First off, the location of this hotel is in one of the most desirable tourist districts. South International Drive is definitely where you want to stay if you’re considering staying off-property. With that said, most of the surrounding hotels are upscale so consider yourself lucky to find this more affordable gem amongst the elite. The units all have kitchenettes, which consist of a full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and dishwasher. The kitchen is extremely convenient for families looking to stay for a week or more or for those who simply want to save money by cooking their own meals. The hotel has free onsite parking and you’ll be able to park right outside your unit. Although the property isn’t guard gated it does have a visible security presence that patrols at night. There is a free theme park shuttle to all the major attractions, but the shuttle only runs a few times each day, so be sure to get the updated times from the front desk.

We only have a few complaints in regards to Parc Corniche. Our major complaint is that the internet costs $4 per day. Most hotels these days offer free internet, but for some reason this resort hasn’t caught up to the times or is looking to squeeze that extra few dollars out of your pockets. Also, the kitchen lacks a traditional oven. There is a small toaster oven, but it isn’t large enough to use for anything other than toast. I would assume that most people can survive without a full-sized oven, but it would be a nice addition for those who are visiting for longer periods of time.

Overall, we would recommend the Parc Corniche Resort for those looking to save money, but still want a safe and convenient location. This certainly isn’t a five star resort, but it has come a long way in recent years due to its recent renovation.
